- First appearance: Punch-Out!!
It is said that Glass Joe Little Mac's first opponent faced off. Punch it out!! The game is designed to be simple enough to encourage players to spend more on arcade machines to fight stronger opponents. This may all be well and good for players, but Glass Joe itself is in a rather unfortunate position. Because the French were weak and naive and didn't want to fight in the first place.
It also doesn't help his case that every fighter comes in. Punch it out!!such as King Hippo and Wonkaider. He happens to be an insanely strong and big fighter who can knock Joe out with a single punch. Someone must act as a training opponent. So, unfortunately for Glass Joe, he took over in several games.
