Shock video shows mums wrestling inside school as police probe brawl

This is the shocking moment that two mums were caught brawling inside a Scottish school, sparking a police probe.

Officers were called to St John’s Academy, in Perth, central Scotland, after the two women got into a fight inside the building, reports The Sun.

The alarm was raised at around 9.45am yesterday morning, local time.

Footage of the fight, reportedly between two parents, was posted on social media.

It showed the two warring women wrestling and pulling at each other’s hair.

They are both then pulled to the floor in the tussle.

The pair are then seen rolling around on the ground as they try to inflict blows on each other.

In the clip, one woman’s leg can be seen outstretched in the air as she lay on the floor.

But the room is full of tables and chairs, which block any further view of the fight.

The short video was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption: “No f**ing way these mums be scrapping”.

And it quickly racked up more than 104,000 views, 370 likes and 15 shares.

It is unclear what sparked the fight between the two parents.

Police have confirmed that they have launched an investigation into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “An investigation is underway following a report of an altercation between two women in Gowans Terrace, Perth on Monday, 29 January 2024.

“Police were made aware of the incident around 9.45am and inquiries are ongoing.”

Perth and Kinross Council also confirmed that they were aware of the investigation into the incident.

A spokesman added: “It would be inappropriate to comment further.“
