Schedule, Teams, Prize pool, and more

India’s premier esports tournament organizer, Skyesports, has revealed the revival of the eagerly awaited Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) 2024. The forthcoming event is slated to be an all-inclusive Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports competition featuring a noteworthy prize pool of $12042.

This occasion will be enhanced by the support of cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturer AMD, promising an elevated gaming experience for all participants. Additionally, EliteHubs has been introduced as the designated e-commerce platform for the tournament.

Skyesports unveils expanded format for 2024 BGMI Champions Series

Skyesports has announced a considerably larger format for 2024 following the wildly successful 2023 edition of the Skyesports Champions Series – BGMI, which peaked at 131,000 concurrent spectators. This time, the SCS will include open-for-all qualifiers, giving players from all over the nation the opportunity to compete in the famous championship.

As per Lumikai’s State of India Gaming Report FY23, which was produced in association with Google, the gaming sector in the nation generated over $3.1 billion in revenue in FY23, and is projected to reach $7.5 billion by FY28. Because so many players are moving up from casual to mid- and hard-core games, the esports market in the nation is expected to grow organically.

Skyesports Champions Series continues to get bigger and better

One of Skyesports’ most valued intellectual properties is the Skyesports Champions Series. It began in 2022 with VALORANT, and the competition culminated in a spectacular live event held in Chennai, India.

The BGMI esports action, increased community participation options, and expanded format promise to make the 2024 edition even bigger than the previous one.
