Influencer Sophie Guidolin, 34, was ‘mistaken for a 22-year-old’

Fitness influencer and mum-of-four Sophie Guidolin has revealed she’s frequently mistaken to be a decade younger than her actual age.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the 34-year-old wrote she’d had multiple run-ins of late where strangers assumed she was actually as young as 22.

“POV (point of view): the lady in Adairs asked me today if I’m ‘moving out of my parents’ today,” Guidolin, who lives on Queensland’s Gold Coast, captioned a video of herself.

“I then had an 18, yes, 18-year-old ask me out on a date … Dude … you’re almost my son’s age AND a 22-year-old said she thought I was her age today when asked me for coffee.

“I’m sorry but what is happening hahahaha (how do I change my Hinge selection … asking for a friend) #imold.”

Dozens of Guidolin’s 555,000 followers took to the comments, imploring her to embrace the “flattering” misconception.

“Such a huge compliment,” one wrote.

“Just go with it … enjoy,” a second commented.

While a third said: “Amazing, and well deserved!”

It’s been a difficult few years for the fitness expert, whose marriage to dentist Andrew Firgaira broke down after their first child together was tragically stillborn in 2023.

In February, Guidolin sparked concern among eagle-eyed fans who noticed a lump on her breast in a series of bikini photos she’d posted to her Instagram.

“Hi Sophie, not sure if it’s the angle of the photo but it looks like there is a lump on your chest at the left,” one follower wrote.

“I was coming here to say the same thing,” a second commented.

“Love the sisterhood looking out for each other. Wishing you good health Sophie.”

Guidolin responded by telling her followers she’d been having some “health issues”.

“I will (hopefully) share when it’s a scar not a wound,” she wrote.

“As always guys, a reminder once again you never know what another person is going through, be kind always.”
