Sukuna, the King of Curses, is seen at the peak of his power in the final arc. Jujutsu Kaisen– In this part of the story, Sukuna fights Gojo and shows what true Jujutsu magic is. at the same time Sukuna was reborn again in his true form. and once again displayed incredible levels of strength, skill, and flexibility in combat.

Sukuna obviously ended up losing the battle in the end, however, no one could definitely destroy his reputation. And it is safe to say that he lives up to the name of the King of Curses. Sukuna is truly a skilled fighter. and had reached a level that no magus except Gojo could reach. What's interesting is the recent release of Volume 27. JJK Gage, the author, has provided a lot of exciting information about Sukuna's techniques. One of them was the skywalk he saw in this story. Especially in battles with wizards.

Sukuna's image as the strongest mage.

  • Sukuna ruled the Heian period.
  • Sukuna can defeat even the strongest.

Sukuna has always been called the strongest person in the world. JJK– Actually, at the beginning of the story Sukuna was portrayed as a legendary mage from the past who could not be resisted. He is a real threat. and dominated the Heian era with his enormous level of strength. Of course, Sukuna's unstoppable nature is such that his name has spread throughout history to the point that even modern sorcerers know about him. Fans have heard a lot about Sukuna through Gojo, though, at this point. Gojo was quite confident that he would be able to defeat him if a direct battle took place.

Across heaven and earth He alone is glorified! – Narrator

It's safe to say that Gojo is definitely on Sukuna's level, as the two fought in Shinjuku, fans finally got to see the true level of jujitsu magic they possessed. And it's safe to say they're neck and neck. At some points in this fight, Gojo is on top, while at others he's on top. There is an equal struggle. And their battle is one that will go down in history as one of the most exciting battles. If not the most exciting battle in all of manga.

In the end, Gojo loses the battle with Sukuna, and this is due to the fact that the Cursed King has access to not only his own cursed techniques. But also the 10 Shadows Technique as well. Specifically, the 10 Shadows Technique gave him access to Mahoraga, which helped Sukuna find the weak points of the Limitless Curse Technique. And finally was able to defeat Gojo very well. From then on Sukuna also performed a solo show. where he fought wizard after wizard in the reincarnated company. and strengthen himself as the strongest along with Gojo.

Author Gege has him use several amazing techniques. One of them is the Airwalk technique as well. The Airwalk technique is exactly what it sounds like. This is the power Sukuna possesses that allows him to walk on air.

Air navigation techniques in Jujutsu Kaisen and Sukuna

Sukuna can use his cursed power to propel himself through the air.

In the many battles of JJKFans have seen some characters use the ability to walk on air. This ability was mostly a way for the author to make the magician levitate. Levitation is a power that not many people can use. For example, Gojo can use his limitless power to float and fight in the air. Sukuna, on the other hand, will have to use different abilities to pull it off. Meanwhile, Touji Fushiguro was able to use something similar with the enormous physical strength he possessed, the next Maki Touji did something similar as well. This is because Maki and Touji both have bodies that exceed human level in terms of physical strength. They were able to do this impossible task using their strength alone.

But for other wizards such as Sukuna, or even new wizards such as Higuruma, using the cursed power to do this is also possible. In volume 27, Gage specifically describes how a wizard can pull How did this come out? And it's certainly interesting. Here's what he had to say:

I want a strong mage to have aerial mobility. (such as double jumping) So I revealed in the Sakurajima Colony arc that in addition to using their CT like Gojo, there is also a way to 'grab surface air' like Maki and Toji.

Sukuna uses the “Sakuna” method of movement. This 'grabs the surface of the air' (look for it!) and he moves through the air faster than Maki or Touji, briefly releasing cursed energy in small explosions when he grabs the surface of the air (though Surface air is not everywhere and is a liquid. Therefore, his path is limited.)

Furthermore, this 'Cursed Energy Using Surface Air Technique' was also used by Higuruma when he shook his hammer. And he has almost mastered the double jump. I plan to connect this scene to the depiction of Higuruma's hidden abilities as a wizard.

Gege obviously wanted to present a more general application of cursed energy. Unfortunately, due to his lack of time and the health problems he suffered from, As a result, he wasn't able to include everything he wanted to in his story. Still, it's incredibly exciting that Gage continues to drop tidbits in his additional information section with the new volume.

How did Sukuna exceed expectations?

Sukuna defeated almost all the wizards in Shinjuku.

As far as Sukuna goes, the fact that he can fight in the air uses cursed energy to propel himself even further. It shows what a true genius he is. Sukuna is a magician who many people admire. People cannot be compared. And Gojo was the only one who was his equal. Sukuna's performance in Shinjuku would become legendary. where he showed his true abilities. And why is he nicknamed the King of Curses? He's clearly a character that cannot be compared in history, and hopefully Gege will continue to drop details about the King of Curses and the overall story in the next volume of the series.

The series is officially over. These little tidbits of information from the writers are truly valuable and add more depth to the story than anyone could have imagined.

Battle of Sukuna Jujutsu Kaisen JJK 269

With volume 28 set to release in the next few months, fans can only hope that the author will focus on Sukuna a lot more than usual. This would also make sense because the King of Curses was central to the series' Final Arc, and his conflict with Yuji Itadori would be the main event from there on out. Fans are just sitting around waiting for more information from the writers.

JJK 271, the final chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, was finally released on September 29, 2024. Fans can read the series on the Manga Plus and Shonen Jump apps.
