Death Stranding was the first in the franchise, developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, which got a 2019 release. The Director’s Cut is a more in-depth version of the game, which was first launched on PlayStation 5 in September 2021, followed by a Windows release in March 2022, and had delayed its iOS launch last year in December.
