MADRID: Environmental activists spray-painted a mansion on the island of Ibiza owned by Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi on Tuesday to highlight the “responsibility of the rich for the climate crisis”. Activists from the Futuro Vegetal group released a video showing two members standing in front of the mansion near Cala Tarida Bay on the west coast of Ibiza holding signs that read: “Save the world – Eat the rich – Abolish the police”. The activists then spray-painted red and black paint on the white façade.
