BraveNine Story, NEOWIZ’s anime RPG to end its service on February 29th, 2024

In a recent announcement, NEOWIZ, the developer of the popular anime RPG BraveNine Story, revealed the game’s end-of-service date, February 29, 2024. This decision has disappointed me and many other fans who have enjoyed the game’s immersive gameplay and compelling storylines.

BraveNine Story game service bid farewell due to the difficulty of keeping it running smoothly

Now, before you start throwing your phones in frustration, allow me to explain. NEOWIZ stated that, despite all of our support for BraveNine Story, they are having difficulty keeping it running smoothly. They are discontinuing BraveNine Story’s service to provide us with a better gaming experience in the future. In my opinion, it is quite fair and reasonable.

The shutdown schedule goes like this, no more in-game purchases after January 29th, 2024, with the final curtain falling on February 29th, 2024. So, if you have any leftover diamonds from your purchases, you can have them refunded. Simply send an email to NEOWIZ with all of the requested information by February 29th.

Now, here’s my take on it, after Brown Dust 2 hit the scene on June 22, 2023, it appeared that BraveNine Story was left in the dust. Updates dried up, and it was clear where NEOWIZ’s priorities were shifting. I suppose they want to go all-in on their newer games, such as Brown Dust 2, which makes sense from a business standpoint.

So, while it’s unfortunate that BraveNine Story is coming to an end, at least we have some great memories from our time in that world and can still enjoy NEOWIZ’s other titles, such as Brave Nine and Brown Dust 2. And who knows, maybe NEOWIZ has some epic plans for their upcoming titles.
