Aussie star reveals the $18 Coles product she adores

Former Married At First Sight contestant Martha Kalifatidis has revealed an $18 Coles product is something she loves to wind down with at the end of the day.

The 35-year-old welcomed her son Lucius with fiance Michael Brunelli in February 2023 and, since, life has remained incredibly busy for the family-of-three.

“I personally love the James Busby pinot noir with a square of dark chocolate. It’s my treat that I look forward to,” she told news.com.au.

“It’s a very easy one to drink. And it’s great because you can just pick it up at your local Liquorland.”

The James Busby ambassador said she could only really speak for herself but added; “What mum isn’t unwinding with a glass of wine on the couch when the kids are in bed, the washing is done and the dishes are clean.

“I feel like that is the best way to unwind.”

Ms Kalifatidis’ favourite bottle of wine sold at Liquorland typically has a price tag of $25 when it isn’t on sale. Coles Liquor expected to sell approximately two million bottles of wine in the lead up to Mother’s Day.

Aussies are still very much on a budget with wines between $11 and $15 set to make up the bulk of those bought.

Ms Kalifatidis is getting ready to celebrate her second Mother’s Day as a mother but it is a far cry from the ones she grew up with.

“We’re actually going to have a pretty chilled Mother’s Day this year because Michael and I are in Sydney,” she told news.com.au.

“It probably won’t be our traditional Mother’s Day with all our grandparents, our mums and our aunties. It’s just going to be us, which I’m looking forward to, to be honest.”

She said the family- will probably go for a walk down to the beach and grab a coffee before coming home, having lunch and unwinding on the couch with a bottle of wine and a movie.

Growing up, Martha said she would visit her grandmothers, who essentially lived next door to each other, and the men of the family would cook lunch while the women would have tea and biscuits while they waited for food.

While the family won’t get to celebrate with Martha’s side this year, the group did get to celebrate in a way that “didn’t feel like work” — cooking pizzas and drinking wine.
