Agatha all the way Green Witch Rio Vidal has had much speculation about her connection to Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), but not much is known about her mysterious role. At the premiere of Agatha all the wayRio attacks Agatha, but the latter convinces her to wait until she's strong enough so that she can get the best of her. “After all these centuries, Agatha Harkness will finally meet her end. Oh, it's so heartwarming,” Rio said, according to Games Radar. “You don't have a heart,” Agatha tells Rio. “Yes, I do. It's black, and it beats for you,” Rio jokes. The second episode showed Agatha and Teen (Joe Locke) visiting Lilia Calderu, who foretold that she, Jennifer Kale (Sasheer Zamata), and Alice Wu (Ali Ahn) would be part of Agatha's coven. There are others on the list, but she can't see her name. Instead, she draws a black heart. Agatha's reaction suggests that she has an idea about the identity of the other coven member.
The conversation between Agatha and Rio and the drawing of a black heart have led many to believe that Plaza's character is Blackheart, the son of the powerful demon Mephisto. The MCU could switch the character's gender by making Blackheart a woman in the TV show. This isn't exactly a new approach; showrunner Bruce Timm also used the same strategy by making the Penguin a woman in the animated series. While it hasn't been confirmed whether Plaza is Blackheart, there's a chance she'll be playing the character, as several clues have suggested otherwise. Additionally, her relationship with Mephisto is significant, as Mephisto has been portrayed as a demon in the MCU due to his mystical abilities to shapeshift, warp reality, and control spirits. Mephisto has also been rumored to be involved in the events of Avengers: Infinity War. WandaVisionSome fans theorize that he used Wanda's grief-stricken powers to create the Hex, or Westview Anomaly, which is home to Wanda's reality. While it's widely speculated that Mephisto is behind Wanda's The Hex, he doesn't make an appearance in the series. However, he could make his MCU debut in Agatha: The House of Chaos With magical and supernatural elements surrounding his character, Mephisto can also be linked to related storylines. Ghost Rider and Doctor StrangeBlackheart is capable of channeling many of Mephisto's powers, including superhuman strength, shapeshifting, energy projection, and more. Given Blackheart's skills, Plaza's role is definitely one to watch out for.
