Argentina shake off chaos of Morocco game beating Iraq 3-1, Spain reach Olympic quarterfinals

Paris: Argentina returned to winning ways at the Olympic men's football tournament with a 3-1 win over Iraq on Saturday in Lyon. Argentina, one of the pre-tournament favourites, suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Morocco in their opening Group B game, which was disrupted by Moroccan fans swarming the pitch and was delayed two hours. Iraq almost pulled off another surprise when Aymen Hussein equalised in first-half stoppage time, but goals from Luciano Gondou and Ignacio Fernandez handed Argentina victory.
