Star Trucker on consoles, PC, and cloud (September 3)

Xbox launched Game Pass in September with Star Trucker, and sometimes a game's title can be a perfect description of what a game is, and Star Trucker does just that. Get in a truck and drive through space, taking on different jobs and chatting with your fellow Star Truckers. If you like driving simulators and space games, you might just have found the perfect game for you.

Age Of Mythology: Retold on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud (September 4)

Age Of Mythology: Retold joins the ranks of the franchise just one day after Star Trucker launches on Game Pass. Over 20 years in development since the creators of Age Of Empires turned their attention to myths and legends for an RTS spin-off, Retold is now available, a remaster of the original Age Of Mythology. If you're a die-hard Age Of Empires fan who's never played the game before, Retold is definitely for you, especially since it's included on Game Pass.

Expeditions: MudRunner on Consoles, PC and Cloud (September 5)

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game isn't a day one release on Game Pass, but it will be the third game in three days added to the service when it launches on September 5. From the creators of Mudrunner and Snowrunner, as you might have guessed, Expeditions adds a twist to the series and is more than just an off-road simulator. This game takes the experience to a whole new level, as you'll not only have to survive in the extreme terrain you explore, but also search for lost treasures and ruins.

Riders Republic on consoles, PC, and cloud (September 11)

The game still focuses on off-road exploration, but in a completely different way, and it's coming to Game Pass on September 11. The game aims to cover a lot of ground, as you'll be able to join up with a ton of other players — possibly even more when it launches on Game Pass — to ski, snowboard, and bike through virtual simulations of national parks. Not extreme enough for you? Take a look at what some of the national parks would look like from above, putting on a wingsuit and gliding down from the sky.

Train Sim World 5 on consoles, PC and cloud (September 17)

World Train Simulator 5
Via Dovetail Games

Back to the new Train Sim World game on its Game Pass launch day. Even if you're unfamiliar with Dovetail's train games, you can probably guess what Train Sim World is from its title. The series isn't just about driving trains. It's all about driving the trains, and this next game in the series not only makes Train Sim World look even better than before, but the three new tracks take you to and through real-life cities recreated in incredible detail.

Wargroove 2 on consoles, PC and cloud (September 19)

Wargroove 2 is a turn-based strategy game set in the Caribbean. Don't sit back and relax, your opponents are coming for you. The game uses a rock-scissors-paper mechanic to determine how much your attacks will affect your opponents and how much damage you will take from them. If you've played the first Wargroove, you'll be comfortable with it, but if you're new to this one, it'll be just as easy to pick up.

Frostpunk 2 on PC (September 19)

Speaking of sequels, let's talk about the games that will be available on Game Pass day one. Frostpunk 2 has been a bit of a surprise hit this year, though many are eagerly awaiting its September 19 release date, whether or not it has Game Pass. Keep in mind that the game is only available on PC, meaning you'll need to subscribe to Game Pass on PC if you want to play it.

Ara: History Untold on PC (September 24)

Coming this September, Ara: History Untold is another game exclusive to PC players, as Ara aims to blend classic PC strategy with more creative gameplay. Journey into history and experience the eras in real life, bringing your people with you.

All you need is help on consoles, PC, and the cloud (September 26)

What you need is help with titles and fonts.
Via Xbox

The shapes in All You Need Is Help may look like Tetris blocks come to life, but this isn't Tetris. This new game from Q-Games is a co-operative game, where each player controls one of the four blocks you see above, and must work with the other three to solve increasingly complex puzzles. All You Need Is Help features both online and local multiplayer, which means you can laugh and shout at the person sitting next to you, or someone across the world.

Legend Of Mana on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud (September 26)

Xbox expressed its concerns about the potentially sour relationship between the company and Square Enix during the Tokyo Game Show, with a number of announcements. One of those announcements was the reveal that an HD version of Legend of Mana was coming to Xbox. Not only that, but the game will also be available through Game Pass. Members can jump right back into the RPG by activating Game Pass or by clicking on the link in the box above.

Trials Of Mana on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud (September 26)

But wait, there's more. Not only can you play Legend Of Mana on Game Pass now, but you can also play Trials Of Mana , a 3D remake of another beloved RPG, and the first example of a game with a story that changes based on the decisions you make. Whether this is your first time playing Trials Of Mana, or you're returning after a few years away to experience something new, you can get started right away.

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie on Xbox Series X|S (September 26)

We Love Katamari is coming to Game Pass as one of the most colorful and fun games to hit the service this September. If you’ve never heard of Katamari, your goal is to roll a ball and collect items as you roll it, which will make the ball grow larger. Isn’t that what everyone really wants from a game? Oh, and yes, the ball and the character that pushes it play supporting roles in Astro Bot. If you’re looking for a game where you can platinum and have a prince roll a ball over you, welcome.
