Adult film star Emily Willis in ‘critical condition’ after reported drug overdose

Adult film star Litzy Lara Banulos, known as Emily Willis, has been hospitalised and is in a critical condition after a suspected drug overdose.

The 25-year-old was taken to a medical facility in Thousand Oaks, California on Sunday, according to a report by TMZ.

She was initially unresponsive and was taken to the critical care unit at the hospital.

It’s understood that Emily had been in a celebrity rehabilitation unit in Malibu, getting help for addiction, before being taken to hospital.

She has worked in the adult film industry since 2017 and is one of the world’s most popular actresses, working mostly with brands like Reality Kings and Evil Angel.

She won the title of female performer at the Adult Video News Awards in 2011, considered the “Oscars of porn” according to the New York Post.

In that same year, she filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against two industry rivals, Gianna Dior and Adria Rae. Emily later received an apology and the suit was dropped in 2022.

She’s also acted in mainstream movies. Last year she appeared in the sci-fi film Divinity which also starred Bella Throne. The movie was premiered at Sundance Film Festival.

Willis has also appeared in a gory Slipknot music video. “So stoked! Thank you [Shawn Crahan] for having me be apart of your project,” she wrote at the time.

The actress has more than 2.2 million follows on Instagram and has interacted with social media stars including Mike Majlak and David Dobrik.

Her fans expressed concern online, with one writing: “Wish you a healing and speedy recovery Emily.”

“Hi darling, I hope your going to be OK,” another added.

“Emily, get well soon Princess. I know it’s hard, but feel the love of your people. God bless,” a fan wrote.

Kick streamer Adin Ross said on his stream, “Damn. Prayers in the chat, you never want to see this chat. Hope she’s OK, hope she recovers well.”

He continued: “F**k drugs, literally, f**k drugs,” Dexerto reported.
