Adidas apologizes to Bella Hadid after 1972 Olympics ad furor

LONDON: Adidas has apologised to supermodel Bella Hadid after she was pulled from an advertising campaign that referenced the 1972 Munich Olympics, Sky News reported on Wednesday. An Israeli-linked pressure group accused the campaign of causing offence because Hadid is part-Palestinian. At the 1972 Olympics, 11 Israeli athletes and a German police officer were killed by the Black September group.
