GOMAA, Democratic Republic of Congo: Survivors and relatives of victims of a 2004 massacre of Tutsi refugees in Burundi have filed a lawsuit claiming genocide and crimes against humanity, their lawyer told AFP on Thursday. The case concerns the massacre of around 160 Congolese Tutsi refugees in a refugee camp in Katamba, Burundi, near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. Three lawsuits have been filed in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, the countries of the suspects in the case, Paris-based lawyer Dominic Inchauspe said by phone.
